The world's biggest offshore wind farm developer Ørsted saw its shares dive into the double-digit losses as the company’s Revolution Wind project received a stop-work order from the US authorities. This comes at a testing moment for the company's finances.

Ørsted (CPH: ORSTED) shares in Copenhagen plummeted by 18% early on Monday after trade opened, to a record low of $27.28 (174 Danish crowns).

The Trump administration issued a stop-work order Friday afternoon to Revolution Wind, bringing to a halt the nearly-completed wind project 12 miles southwest of Aquinnah in the most recent blow to the industry that’s drawn ire from the president.
