Maxx Crosby, Adam Butler ready to play Sunday
Las Vegas coach Pete Carroll said Friday afternoon that both star defensive end Maxx Crosby and starting defensive tackle Adam Butler will be reayd to go after they practiced the past two days.
Coach Pete Carroll, however, said the Raiders expect Butler to play Sunday against the Jaguars. Butler was injured in the Raiders' pre-bye Week 7 loss to the Chiefs, though he didn't log a defensive snap in that contest. The veteran defensive tackle has 19 tackles (nine solo) and one fumble recovery across 282 defensive snaps this season.
On the very first drive of the game for the Chiefs, Adam Butler left with a back injury. The Chiefs went on to score three touchdowns on three drives in the first half. And as of the start of the second half, Butler was downgraded to OUT.
Surely, there was something to be found in the morass of a 31-0 humbling by the Chiefs, already the second time this season the Raiders have been beaten by at least 30 points.
