Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem announced a new policy that will allow travelers to keep their shoes on when going through TSA screenings at the airport, ending the long-standing "Shoe-off" policy.

Passengers traveling through domestic airports don't have to take their shoes off while going through TSA security screening.

For nearly twenty years, most air travelers in the U.S. have been required to remove their shoes when going through security. That requirement has ended.
