"Tragedies like these rock an entire community, state and even nation," the Tremonton Garldan Police Department wrote in a release.

Two police officers were fatally shot and a third was wounded when a man opened fire as they responded to a domestic violence call at a home in Tremonton, Utah.

Detectives found at least 36 shell casings at the scene, Tisch said, along with a firearm in the vicinity – they are working to determine whether it was connected to the shooting.
