Bob Uecker, the Brewers' beloved broadcaster, was honored in his hometown of Milwaukee with an hour-long pregame program in front of a sellout crowd.

Bob Uecker’s Hall of Fame broadcasting career began only after the Milwaukee Brewers initially hired him as a scout.Former Brewers owner and MLB Commissioner Bud Selig said it didn’t take long to realize Uecker might be better suited for a different role.

The Milwaukee Brewers are auctioning off their game-worn "Ueck" jerseys from yesterday's Bob Uecker Celebration of Life game. All of the proceeds go to charity and the auctions run through September 8.
