Committee that has spent half-million on Connie Chan ads is tied, circuitously, to pro-Israel lobby AIPAC. Chan has rejected AIPAC funding.

San Francisco Supervisor Connie Chan said her priorities on day one would be to reverse healthcare cuts, invest in childcare and establish pathways to citizenship for undocumented individuals.

But what Chan does have that might help her secure at least second place in the June 2 primary is the support of a wide swath of labor unions with whom she has longstanding relationships and whose cause she claims as her own.
