Drake wasn’t having it, and he proceeded to blast DeRozan and the idea of the Raptors retiring DD’s No. 10 during an appearance on the Raptors broadcast in a game against the Sacramento Kings in November, threatening to “pull it down myself” if his number ever went up on a banner.

It's safe to say Drake and DeMar DeRozan, once friends when the Sacramento Kings forward played for Drake's hometown Toronto Raptors, are now, well, the opposite of friends. The Canadian rapper put that on clear and obvious display again Sunday, spiking a DeRozan Raptors jersey that was tossed to him while he was performing in Sydney, Australia.

Drake doesn't seem to have taken kindly to DeRozan's purported disloyalty. During a court-side interview at Toronto's Nov. 2 duel with DeRozan and the Kings — a match in which Vince Carter's No. 15 jersey was retired — the 38-year-old offered an unprompted take about the prospect of DeRozan's No. 10 being raised into the rafters.
