ESPN's Stephen A. Smith takes issue with Browns QB Dillon Gabriel's "entertainer" comment, a perceived slight towards Shedeur Sanders.

The Cleveland Browns quarterback sparked conversation Saturday when he said football players are “entertainers, not competitors” during a preseason matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles. The remark drew plenty of attention on social media, and Monday morning, ESPN’s Smith tore into the rookie on First Take.

Jaxson Dart showed his promise, Dillon Gabriel raised some eyebrows, and Jim Harbaugh coached the day after the NCAA’s penalties on Michigan came down.

Dillon Gabriel got his first preseason start for the Cleveland Browns in Week 2 against the Philadelphia Eagles and delivered a bit of a mixed bag.

Joe Flacco is expected to start that game, but the Browns would like to see their young quarterbacks, Sanders and Dillon Gabriel (hamstring) get some playing time as well. It remains to be seen if Kenny Pickett (hamstring) will be ready for action next week.
