"Good Trouble Lives On" protests will be taking place across the country on Thursday, including in Central Florida. Nearly 50 Florida cities are expected to host the national day of action protests in response to "the attacks on our civil and human rights by the Trump administration.

On the Treasure Coast, three "Good Trouble Lives On" protests occurred in Port St. Lucie, Stuart and Vero Beach. Over 1,600 protests were scheduled for July 17, and on the Treasure Coast, thousands demonstrated.

About 100 people gathered Thursday outside Orlando City Hall to protest the policies of the Trump administration as part of the nationwide “Good Trouble Lives On” demonstrations.

Non-profit organizations and other advocacy groups in Tallahassee organized local efforts like protests and labs to honor a national day of "Good Trouble" Thursday.
