Texas Gov. Greg Abbott says he’ll impose a 100% tariff on New Yorkers moving to Texas after Election Day amid the city’s heated Cuomo–Mamdani mayoral race.

Monday afternoon, Texas Gov. Greg Abbott issued a $10,000 reward for information leading to Dennis' arrest. Abbott said the Texas Department of Public Safety has also added Dennis to its 10 Most Wanted fugitives list.

In response to speculation about New Yorkers relocating to Texas after the results of New York City’s mayoral race, Gov. Abbott announced on X on Monday that he would impose a “100% tariff” on anyone moving from the Big Apple after Tuesday’s elections.
