Arsenal are waiting to see if Kai Havertz is going to be on the sidelines for a period of time after the forward picked up a knee injury. The 26-year-old was not part of the open training session held at Emirates Stadium on Wednesday and the injury is being assessed by the medical department.

We don’t know any details and so speculation about Havertz’s injury and what Arsenal will do is just that — speculation. Havertz could miss a couple weeks, a month, a couple months, or the rest of the season.

Havertz recovered from the hamstring problem that plagued him last campaign, but has now suffered a knee injury just one match into Arsenal’s 2025–26 Premier League title push. The German joins Gabriel Jesus, who is still recovering from an ACL injury, on the sidelines, leaving Viktor Gyökeres as the club’s only fit striker.
