By Fayaz Bukhari, Sakshi Dayal and YP RajeshSRINAGAR/NEW DELHI (Reuters) -India announced a raft of measures to downgrade its ties with Pakistan on Wednesday, a day after suspected militants killed 26 men at a tourist destination in Kashmir in the worst attack on civilians in the country in nearly two decades.

India's External Affairs Ministry said the Indus Water Treaty will be suspended after an attack in Kashmir left over two dozen dead.

After the deadly Uri attack in September 2016, where 19 Indian soldiers were killed, India launched what it called "surgical strikes" across the de facto border - also known as the Line of Control (LoC) - targeting what it said were militant launch pads in Pakistan-administered Kashmir.
