Over 200 people gathered July 17 at the City Market Pavilion to participate in the "Good Trouble Lives On" protest in honor of the late U.S. Congressman John Lewis.

Sarasota was one of 50 cities in Florida with over 400 hundred people in attendance protesting the Trump administration under the name "Good Trouble Lives On."

Organizers describe “good trouble” as peaceful, collective action to “challenge injustice and create meaningful change.”
