Amanda Jones of Anderson was camping along the Guadalupe River near Kerrville with her husband, four children, and three dogs when storms began moving through the area late Thursday night. They arrived at their campsite on July 3 around 3 p.m. and had settled in by early evening, pitching their tent roughly 20 yards from a tributary of the river.

A Flash Flood Warning was issued Sunday evening for Kerr County as rescue efforts continue from the July 4 flooding. FOX 26 meteorologist Remeisha Shade explains.
