Tom Cruise recently opened up about the intense stunt demands of filming Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning. In newly released bonus content, he discussed the climactic biplane sequence and how it pushed him to his physical limits.

The latest film is a direct sequel to Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One, released in 2023. The film released in theatres on May 17. Its international digital rollout has begun, but for now, there is no confirmed streaming platform or digital release date for India yet.

“Oh God, that was brutal,” Cruise remembered as the director noted: “This separated the joints in Tom’s fingers from the force, so by the time we finished this sequence, your hands were absolutely swollen — oh my God, it was so painful to watch.”
