NANTUCKET — Sporting a combat veteran hat and a MASS 50501 t-shirt, retired US Army Sgt. Bryan Winter took to the stage at Children’s Beach on July 22 at a protest that coincided with Vice President JD Vance’s visit to the island.

Vice President JD Vance, on his way to a fundraiser organized by the Republican National Committee at a Nantucket home Tuesday, was met by protesters.

Bob Reynolds and his wife, Laura, hosted a GOP fundraiser at their Nantucket home where tickets cost $100,000 or more.
