The General Manager of the San Francisco 49ers provided an update on Christian McCaffrey's injury status after a tough NFL season for the team. After a disappointing 6-11 NFL season that saw the San Francisco 49ers finish last in the NFC West and miss the postseason,

San Francisco general manager John Lynch would update the media about McCaffrey and say after playing just four games last season, he is “doing great.” However, there is no doubt that McCaffrey was “frustrated” with the way the year went due to such issues relating to his Achilles and then suffering from a PCL injury according to NBC Sports.

As for when he's expected to make a return back to the field, San Francisco 49ers general manager John Lynch told reporters on Wednesday that he hopes the running back will be able to participate in "at least parts" of the team's offseason program, which is good news.
