Pierce Brosnan opens up about his interest in returning to the James Bond franchise, that's if director Denis Villeneuve wants him to be his 007 in his upcoming film

In a recent interview with Radio Times, former James Bond actor Pierce Brosnan revealed that he would seriously consider reprising the role—particularly if the project were helmed by Denis Villeneuve, currently attached to direct the upcoming 26th Bond film for Amazon MGM Studios.

It’s a long shot, admittedly. But Pierce Brosnan, who played Bond in four movies ( GoldenEye, Tomorrow Never Dies, The World Is Not Enough, and Die Another Day ), says he’s up for the challenge. Speaking to the Radio Times, the 72-year-old actor had a good-natured reaction to being asked if he thought the time was right for “a senior citizen 007.”
