One person is dead and several were injured after a small business jet crashed into a parked plane as it arrived at Scottsdale Airport in Arizona, just east of Phoenix, on Monday afternoon.

The Federal Aviation Administration said the Learjet 35A veered off the runway as it arrived at Scottsdale Municipal Airport around 2:45 p.m. It hit a Gulfstream 200 business jet that was parked on private property, officials said at a news conference.

Joe Vitosky, 78, was flying Mötley Crüe singer Vince Neil's jet from Austin, Texas, to Arizona on Monday when it crashed with a parked Gulfstream Jet. His daughter believes how her father reacted likely saved other people's lives.
