Rachel Reeves, Britain’s most senior finance official, appeared visibly upset in the House of Commons on Wednesday, as Prime Minister Keir Starmer was asked about her position.

During PMQs, Tory leader Kemi Badenoch had attacked Mr Starmer and Ms Reeves saying: “She looks absolutely miserable! She looks absolutely miserable. Labour MPs are going on the record to say that the Chancellor is toast, and the reality is she is a human shield for his incompetence.”

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene expressed skepticism and frustration over the House's attempt to pass the "One Big Beautiful Bill Act" after the Senate's version, which was passed with a tie-breaking vote from Vice President Vance, and warned of a "s--- show" in the House's efforts to pass the bill before Trump's self-imposed deadline.
