KENT COUNTY, MI – A dog was abandoned in a parking lot with a heartbreaking note attached to its collar. In a message posted to Facebook, Kent County Animal Shelter Director Angela Hollinshead said the dog was left in a Meijer parking lot. Fortunately, she was found and taken to the shelter. The dog is now being cared for at the facility.
