If Stafford is traded after June 1, then the money is extremely easy to work around. Stafford is coming off an impressive season with 3,762 passing yards, 29 touchdown passes, and only eight interceptions. Despite a positive season, the Rams appear ready to move on from the aging quarterback. The question is, would Stafford be interested in joining the Cleveland Browns? It’s no secret that the Browns are desperate for a starting quarterback for the 2025 season. Cleveland remains locked into the regrettable contract of Deshaun Watson, who is expected to be out for most of 2025 with a torn Achilles. This means that all possibilities, like Stafford, must be considered before the start of training camp. With star defender Garrett requesting a trade from the team, it would be interesting to see if the Browns or Stafford would consider this to be a possible scenario next season.
