As Gonzalez covered Bolt’s receiver Quentin Johnson, he attempted to knock the ball away and appeared to absorb a hit to the head as he dove to the ground.

The injury came on a play when Gonzalez was in coverage against Chargers wide receiver Quentin Johnston. He beat Johnston to the underthrown ball and nearly came away with an interception. However, as the play unfolded, Gonzalez could be seen rolling underneath Johnston, who fell on top of his head.
