Jayden Daniels is back as the Washington Commanders host the Chicago Bears led by Caleb Williams in a sophomore quarterback showdown on the Monday Night Football finale.

The Bears' game-winning drive was set up by a Jayden Daniels fumble on a hand-off to Jacory Crosley-Merritt with 3:10 left. On third-and-1, Daniels mishandled the exchange, and the Bears recovered at their own 44. D'Andre Swift took over from there, rushing for 34 yards on the final drive to set up Moody's kick.

Former Washington Commanders and current Chicago Bears defensive end Montez Sweat got revenge on his former team late in the first quarter. Sweat punched the ball out on Commanders rookie running back Jacory Croskey-Merritt, putting the Bears in Washington territory.

The Bears have been outscored 24-3 since taking a 13-0 lead. Washington remains in front. Jake Moody's 48-yard kick is blocked. Washington takes the lead. Jayden Daniels hits Luke McCaffrey, who easily scores on busted coverage. Nahshon Wright bit inside, and that left McCaffrey wide open.
