Greece imposes more expensive tourist tax for British holidaymakers and cruise passengers
The Climate Resilience Fee means tourists visiting a five-star hotel in Greece will be charged €15 (£12.64) per room, per night during September and October. This is an increase of €5 per night since January 2024, which can amount to an extra €75 (£63.24) for a single room during a four-night stay in Greece.
