The Detroit Lions lost 41-34 to the NFC-leading Los Angeles Rams. Here are the game highlights from the Week 15 showdown.

The Lions went down the field and scored a touchdown to make it a one-possession game on a David Montgomery touchdown. Emmanuel Forbes Jr. was called for pass interference in the end zone on fourth down, setting up Montgomery's score on the next play.

The Rams closed out the game with a final score 0f 41-34 and retain their top spot in the NFC as they prepare for a gargantuan Thursday night game against the Seattle Seahawks. The Rams also have secured a spot in the playoffs as their strong ‘25 season continues.

The Detroit Lions didn't play their best game of the season, but it was certainly their most entertaining game.

A 52-yard catch-and-run by St. Brown following the kickoff immediately put the Lions in Rams territory. This time, the Lions reached the endzone via an eight-yard touchdown pass from Goff to St. Brown to regain the lead 17-14 with 6:12 to go in the first half.

Thursday’s game between the 7-5 Detroit Lions and 6-5-1 Dallas Cowboys was almost a pseudo-elimination game. Thanks to three touchdowns from Jahmyr Gibbs, the Lions are now better than 50/50 to make the playoffs while the Cowboys’ chances plummeted to the single digits after Detroit’s 44-30 win on Thursday Night Football.

The Detroit Lions (8-5, 3rd in NFC North) beat the Dallas Cowboys (6-6-1, 2nd in NFC East) 44-30 on Thursday, Dec. 4 at Ford Field in Detroit. With the win, the Lions keep their playoff hopes alive in a crowded NFC postseason picture.
