Sufferin’ succotash, it’s a Looney Tunes movie to love!
“The Day the Earth Blew Up: A Looney Tunes Movie” surprised me. I expected yet another big screen misuse of the animated Warner Bros. characters I’ve loved since I was a kid. Outside of 2003′s “Looney Tunes: Back in Action,” and 1988′s “Who Framed Roger Rabbit,” movies featuring Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, and Porky Pig have not done them justice.
Warner Bros. has put its legacy cartoon at a crossroads. We spoke to those looking towards the future of the Looney Tunes.
they are also being followed by VP Kate and Bugs--the studio brass has decided that the rabbit needs a comic foil after all, and Kate's job is on the line if she can't get Daffy back to work ASAP.
