Tropical Storm Jerry has weakened and, as of Friday, was struggling to reach hurricane strength as it passed the Northern Leeward Islands in the Atlantic, according to the National Hurricane Center.

The National Hurricane Center is now predicting Jerry will not strengthen into a hurricane.
