The Philadelphia Phillies have released an update on their veteran pitcher after a life-threatening setback on the mound.

Now owner of the longest scoreless innings streak in Phillies history, pitcher Cristopher Sanchez will continue his pursuit of the major-league record June 3 at Citizens Bank Park. Sanchez will start against the Padres in the second game of a three-game set.
