A man died after a shooting in Stockton on Tuesday evening, according to police. The shooting was reported at about 5:55 p.m. in the 300 block of South San Joaquin Street, where officers arrived and found the shooting victim. He was taken to a hospital and succumbed to his injuries there, Stockton police said Wednesday.
