Agreeing with that sentiment is Morne Visser, Du Plessis’ head coach, who just a day removed from losing the title at UFC 319, has slammed Chimaev’s performance.
Du Plessis (23-3 MMA, 9-1 UFC) was handily beaten by Chimaev (15-0 MMA, 9-0 UFC) in the form of a unanimous decision at United Center in Chicago, ending his reign as middleweight titleholder with two defenses under his belt.

UFC 319 is officially set to take place at the United Center, headlined by a highly anticipated matchup between Dricus Du Plessis and Khamzat Chimaev.
