We haven’t heard anything about a potential price increase for the new iPad Air. When Apple released the M4 iPad Pro in May 2024, it raised the prices by $100/£100, so it’s possible Apple will increase the 2025 iPad Air as well. However, that price hike was also accompanied by a new tandem OLED display, which the iPad Air is unlikely to receive.

The M2 iPad Air’s original price point of $599 placed it squarely in the middle of the tablet pricing range, but Amazon’s 17% off deal running right now has knocked a C-note off of that number, making the M2 iPad Air a great deal at just $499.
