Matt Suhey, a member of the Bears' Super Bowl XX champions, has died.

Tributes are coming in for Matt Suhey, who played at Penn State and was one of the best friends of NFL legend Walter Payton.

As we excitedly look forward to the Chicago Bears visit to the Carolina Panthers this Sunday for opening weekend, we are also saddened by the loss of one of the great blue-collar '85 Bears, Matt Suhey. Suhey scored the first touchdown in Super Bowl XX, giving the Bears a lead they would never surrender.
