CANFIELD, Ohio (AP) — An armed man accused of charging toward Ohio gubernatorial candidate Amy Acton during a campaign stop at a fair was trying to ask the Democrat questions, a prosecutor said during the man’s arraignment Tuesday.
Prosecutor Lynn Maro said that the suspect, Patrick Havas, was armed at the time of the incident but did not brandish a weapon.

Patrick Havas, 38, was arrested Sunday while carrying two pistols and a Taser. His brother, Andrew Havas, gave more than $10,102 to Vivek Ramaswamy and resigned from Jon Husted’s campaign after scrutiny of a 2009 guilty plea in a case involving a 15-year-old.
