Missouri’s Supreme Court blocked election officials from using a new congressional map, saying voters must first approve the district lines in a statewide referendum.

Attorney Chuck Hatfield says the state injunction still stands and counties can't legally print any map. Military ballots ship in 11 days.

The court's ruling overturns unilateral action from Missouri Secretary of State Denny Hoskins declaring unconstitutional a ballot measure with enough signatures to go before voters.
