A24 is selling 'Backrooms' wallpaper for your creepy delight
The walls are closing in on you. A24’s Backrooms film brings a classic creepypasta story to the big screen for one chilling adventure. The film follows a furniture store owner and his therapist as they discover a bunch of liminal spaces in the basement of his store.
Viewers claimed to see a monster in the background of one of the shots. Though the tagline — “See How Far It Goes” — again focused on the never-ending rooms, a potential monster was no surprise for long-time backrooms fans. This creature, known as the Lifeform, first appeared in Parsons’ 2022 web series, which is inspiring the movie.
