The Cleveland Browns are taking on the Philadelphia Eagles on Saturday, and rookie Dillon Gabriel will be making his NFL debut as the team's starting quarterback.

Former Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel praised Shedeur Sanders' strong preseason performance, while discussing the rookie's fall to the fifth round in the NFL Draft.

The Browns have a lot of sorting out to do during the preseason as they get ready to have a bounce-back regular season.

Brown was on the field for 136 special-teams plays in 2024. On his first play of the season for Cleveland, Brown caused a fumble on the opening kickoff against the New York Giants on Sept. 22. In 67 NFL games, Brown has been on the field for 494 defensive snaps and 1,193 special-teams plays.

Colorado Buffaloes football legend Shedeur Sanders will return to practice with the Cleveland Browns next week and could potentially play against the Los Angeles Rams.

The Browns currently have four quarterbacks vying for the starting job, and all of them were offseason additions. Cleveland traded for Kenny Pickett, signed Joe Flacco in free agency and selected both Dillon Gabriel and Shedeur Sanders in the NFL Draft.
