He’s back. After missing a little more than two weeks due to a Grade 1 right calf strain, Ronald Acuña Jr. was reinstated from the injured list prior to the Braves' game against the Guardians on Friday night.

As expected based on reports that Atlanta Braves star outfielder Ronald Acuña Jr. had already traveled to Cleveland in order to meet up with his team as the Braves get set to face the Guardians, today is indeed the day that he’s been reinstated from the 10-Day IL. The team confirmed the news in a social media post:

CLEVELAND -- Atlanta star Ronald Acuna Jr. was activated Friday night before the Braves' series opener against the Cleveland Guardians. The 2023 NL MVP had been on the 10-day injured list since July 30 because of a strained right calf, missing 15 games. He was in the starting lineup in right field and batted third against left-hander Joey Cantillo.
