The SEC is considering voting LSU out of the conference. In the amended lawsuit filed by the conference against LSU after Lan e Kiffin tried to use professional players in Week 1, there is language that would allow the conference to the school out of the conference as soon as this week.

The SEC is asking a federal judge to stop LSU officials and others from interfering with a Sept. 10 meeting where the conference could vote to kick LSU out of the SEC.

As the SEC moves to potentially expel LSU from the conference, several Louisiana politicians are apoplectic. In the latest move in LSU’s headline-grabbing battle to allow Dae’Quan Wright and Zxavian Harris to play for LSU this season ,

The lawsuit says Murrill and other state officials are actively interfering with the conference’s ability to enforce its own rules.
