It's no secret at this point that the Blue Jays very nearly landed Shohei Ohtani in his blockbuster free agency sweepstakes nearly two years ago. It's been much discussed leading up to this World Series between Toronto and Los Angeles,

Ohtani was spotted wearing a custom jacket with an embroidered image of his dog, Decoy, while arriving for Los Angeles' series-opening clash with the Toronto Blue Jays. It wasn't the first time Ohtani gave a shoutout to Decoy with his clothing, as he wore a suit that featured pictures of his dog during the 2024 All-Star festivities.
