A suspect who allegedly shot and killed his ex-wife at a hospital in Detroit and then fled the scene has been taken into custody, according to police.

The man had been on the run since he allegedly shot his ex-wife Friday morning and was presumed to be armed and dangerous.

Mario Green was taken into custody without incident shortly before 3 a.m. Saturday on Lemay St. in Detroit, according to a police news release.
