In the 5th, Pierson Ohl took over for Ryan and tossed a scoreless inning, and stayed in the game until the 9th. Then in the bottom of that inning, Ryan Jeffers lined a solo homer to left, his 9th of the year.
BOTTOM LINE: The Minnesota Twins will try to keep a three-game road win streak alive when they play the Athletics. The Athletics have a 23-40 record overall and a 9-22 record at home.
