Disney has shared new concept art for the ride vehicles set to debut in Magic Kingdom’s upcoming Cars-themed land. First announced at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event, this new expansion will see Lightning McQueen and friends leave Radiator Springs behind to take on rugged frontier terrain.

During SXSW, Disney revealed new details about the upcoming Cars-themed Land coming to its Florida location. The New Magic Kingdom attraction will be equipped with a brand new offroad track where the vehicles act as the ride.

Disney Imagineers gave the updates Saturday during a presentation at SXSW. The rides don’t have official opening dates yet. At Hollywood Studios, the Monsters Inc. ride will include the memorable scene from the movie where Mike, Sully and Boo venture through a vault to find the child’s closet door.

Disney executives spoke at South by Southwest in Austin, Texas Saturday about new things coming to the parks, including Cars and Monsters, Inc. rides.

Finally, Din Djarin and Grogu are heading to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at both Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort. The famous sci-fi duo will now be part of the upcoming Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run.
