DETROIT, MI — Detroit Police arrested a suspect who allegedly shot and killed his ex-wife inside Henry Ford Hospital Friday, Aug. 22. Mario Green was taken into custody without incident shortly before 3 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 23 in the 5200 block of Lemay St. in Detroit, the Detroit Free Press reports.

One person is dead and another was wounded in a shooting early Friday on Detroit's west side, police said. Authorities said officers were called at about 4:47 a.m. to a location in the area of Linwood Street and West Grand Boulevard for a report of a shooting.
