Cowboys linebacker Micah Parsons and the team are not even close to a deal, and in fact, one NFL insider says he doesn't expect one anytime soon.

With no movement made on a long-term union between the Cowboys and Micah Parsons, ESPN’s Adam Schefter forecasts the once fruitful pairing is “headed towards divorce” after the relationship deteriorated throughout the offseason.

Parsons, who is set to play on the fifth-year option of his rookie contract in 2025, has requested a trade. The Cowboys have said they want to keep the 26-year-old pass-rusher, but it appears they're still making little progress in contract negotiations.
