In previous posts, I have highlighted Carousel Mall and their former stores including the Disney Store. I noted the Syracuse-themed Disney art work that decorated the walls and wondered where they might have ended up after the store closed in 2021. I recently learned that @makeawishcny, whose wishes are nearly 40% Disney-related, was invited to take decor for their East Syracuse offices during a previous store remodel and again when the store closed. I had a chance to visit their office and see

When I asked what people thought the big mall announcement might be, some said they were hoping it was a return to Carousel. That’s obviously not the case but you can still find the old Carousel Mall logo on one of the entrance doors that never got updated during the rebrand.
