When transplanting irises, cut the leaves off and lay the rhizomes in top of loose soil, packing soil around it. The rhizome needs to bake in the sun to produce flowers. If they are buried in soil they will produce little to no blooms.#iris #gardening #tranplantingperennials #kawarthalakes
