About 40 patients who were referred to Windhoek from Katima Mulilo, Zambezi Region, did not travel due to a lack of drivers. The patients were supposed to have travelled in the early hours of today, Wednesday, and were told to overnight at the State hospital. Devastated patients our News team spoke to expressed concern about the situation. Some say they were forced to sleep in a ward with patients, some of whom are not in their right state of mind.
