The Mountain School welcomed musician, Liam Lawson (@liamlawsonmusic) to campus who soothed us with Songs of the Shakers - traditional Shaker songs arranged for the guitar. Liam also gave a history lesson on the Shakers, discussing utopian communities in the Northeast, the Shaker approach to work and innovation as well as pacifism and abolition.
