Flattery! Making a powerhammer flatter with a powerhammer flatter. Flatters as their name suggests are capable of leveling surfaces but more importantly for my work they allow smoothing of tapers when using flat dies . The radius on the back of the flatter allows me to hit at angles that I couldn’t get otherwise with out changing dies.
